Monday & Tuesday
On Monday I went to Mummy's office in the morning and then at around 11PM I went to Lavender MRT Station and hopped on to the same train Elyssa was on. Then we went to shop at Bugis Junction and Bugis Street. On the whole, the place was quite ulu probably 'cause it was a Monday. I bought Watermelon Smoothie at Rockery. But I tell you the woman at the counter had attitude problem or something, tsk. I wouldn't have bought anything from her if not for the love for Watermelon Smooothie. And then it was the first thing I bought so I gave her a fifty-dollar note and then she was like, 'I'll return you all two-dollar notes if you don't have small change.'. There's nothing wrong with that but she really sounded bu shuang. Okay whatever, Elyssa paid for me first :)
Anyway, I bought this bottle of metallic paint at Bugis Junction 'cause I thought I could decorate my camera so that the scratches and all the bad stuff would be covered but I tested it on my bed frame and it was so hard to squeeze the paint out evenly and I could peel it out after it dried so yuck I wasted $4.90. Okay not really, my sister can design her clothes or something :) Maybe I'll wrap up my phone with the cool stick-on stuff. Um, Elyssa and I were quite sure that we'd see someone we know from school but we didn't. But I still saw lots of people who are not from school that day. I saw the twins from Campus Superstar -- Shermaine and Sheena -- I think, or whatever. (Hahaha, I learnt this -- thing from Memoirs of A Geisha. Reading is Good.) Um, basically we just walked from Bugis Junction to Bugis Street to Bugis Junction to Bugis Street for a few hours.
OH AND THEN AND THEN, at Seiyu I saw this woman who was wearing a dress buttoned from top to bottom but she forgot to button one, which was at her private part. I could see her underwear, and fortunately it wasn't translucent or lacy or anything that made the inside visible. So I nudged Elyssa and ask her to look, oops. But the woman was walking damn far already and we actually made a detour or something of that sort so that Elyssa could see. Oh my god so perverted hahaha! Anyway, we ran all the way to somewhere around Rockery and finally saw the woman through the mirror on the pillar. So we told her that she didn't button her there and she thanked us and went off. A good deed a day! Anyway Elyssa was like, 'She didn't reward us with 50 dollars.'.
Haha, we walked to Bugis Street and we set our budget, no more than 15 bucks for a top and no more than 20 for a bottom. Actually most of the stuff there are already in our budget, haha. Um, we had lunch at Bugis Teenage Cafe. I went with the cousins the other time but didn't get to try the spaghetti, which was tasty. And I love the garlic bread, hehe. We sat there for quite some time talking and all that. The grafitti on the walls are very interesting anyway.
Yup, after lunch we walked around Bugis Street. They had their Street Wide Sale so stuff were considerably cheap I guess. We tried realy hard to bargain okay. Hahaha, we came up with strategies too! We were at this grumpy old lady's shop and then the shirts were like one for 10 bucks, two for 18. Uh so Elyssa and I strategized! First she went to the fitting room to try, and then she said she wanted one shirt, and then obviously the Grumpy Old Lady said we should get two, 'cause it'd be cheaper. And so I said okay I'll get one too. Then we gave her the shirts we wanted and when she was folding them to put inside the plastic bag, I asked if she could lower the price to 16. (Aiya, bargain like no bargain like that only two bucksand the shirts were not like damn nice, we just wanted the feel of bargaining!) Then she was like no 'cause it's 18 already 'cause they have the Street Wide Sale thing. Haha, so we were like sorry then never mind we don't want the shirts. Attitude ah!! She tried to explain to us that it was the SWS and falala but we just walked away.
Continued to walk around Bugis Street and went back to Bugis Junction and our legs were really tired but we couldn't find anywhere to sit so we ended up in the Neoprint shop. Sat on some boxes in the shop as if they were meant for sitting, haha. After that we took the MRT to Marina Bay 'cause we wanted to go to Marina Square (I haven't really shopped there since they revampment). Ended up in this secluded place, hahaha. So we took the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut. I've always wanted to get new stick-ons from the shop in the underpass of Dhoby Ghaut. Went there but the shop didn't have any nice stick-ons anymore >: By the time we went to Plaza Singapura we were really very tired so we just sat at the wooden bench outside a chinese restaurant. Then my parents came to fetch and so we left :)
Elyssa, we've conquered: 1)Parkway 2)Suntec City 3)Bishan Junction 8 4)Shaw House 5)Far East Plaza 6)Plaza Singapura 7)VivoCity 8)Tampines Mall 9)Century Square 10)Bugis Junction and 11)Bugis Street! Plus 12)Compass Point and 13)the underpass of Dhoby Ghaut, but they're minor) Our influence is getting greater and greater! <3
My parents and I went to Punggol Plaza for dinner and I saw my paternal Fifth Aunt, the one Ah Ma gave away 'cause she wasn't a boy. And so I do not know three of my paternal cousins. Then when we were on the way to the carpark to get the car we saw Mr Fong, he parked his car just beside ours. He asked me how much I got for Maths and I said I forgot but of course I didn't. It's so embarrassing, it wasn't even a 7-something, hahaha.
On Tuesday I went to Madeline's house to paint the magnets for our Art SL thing. Yeah, I overslept so I met Beatrice at Serangoon MRT Station half an hour later and then we took the MRT for about 45 minutes and reached Clementi. Um waited for Madeline a while and then we had lunch at MacDonald's, then we went to the Big Bookshop to get varnish and then her mother fetched us all to her house. We did the magnets at her clubhouse, perfect spot for working. By the way Madeline gave me a candy cane for Christmas and I'm eating it now :)

Hahaha, I slacked the most. But I made up to Beatrice and Madeline by varnishing the magnets! The magnets are very pretty! We completed only about 30 or 40 magnets only so we have to meet again. And I hope people would want to buy our magnets -.- Anyway, we worked till past 6, and then Madeline's mother fetched us to Clementi MRT Station and Beatrice and I went home from there. Thank you Madeline's mother for fetching us here and there! On the MRT home Beatrice and I were guessing the Chinese names of the stations we went to. And we concluded that I am more street-wise! Hahaha, nah I concluded myself. Um, we sat from Clementi to Outram Park and then we took the from Outram Park to Harbourfront and then back 'cause it was a long ride and we could ensure ourselves seats throughout the journey. And we started wondering how the train worked so that it could like, u-turn or something. So I was thinking maybe the track moves and MRT just moves in the reverse direction and all that so we don't feel it turning, and Beatrice was like, 'Maybe it's just magic.'. Woah, really man, magic. When I reached home Beatrice got the answer from her father already, about the Marvellous MRT.
